Join us this St. Patrick's Day, Sunday March 17th, for a special offering of Introductory Irish Dance! Class is from 2-3pm in Studio A (4th floor). No dance experience required.
We welcome revelers to the downtown Ballet Centre for a special St. Patrickโs Day class! Full-time Faculty Member, Jessica Baynes will teach the class including an overview of the art form and introductory soft and hard shoe. If you do not have ballet shoes, please wear socks. If you have tap shoes, bring them along, otherwise please bring some clean sneakers (no snow or mud).

Instructor Biography:
Jessica Baynes has almost decade of training in Irish dance and comes from a traditional Irish family, whose culture has strongly influenced her artistic background.
Jessica grew up competitive Irish dancing with Harney Academy of Irish Dance and Malone Academy of Irish Dance, taking home medals from Oireachtas championships between 2006-2009.
Baynes has taught Irish dance workshops for institutions such as An Dragan Ceilteach Irish Dancers, San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts, University of Utah, Weber State University, and Ballet West Summer Intensive.
Her guest workshops include: Intro to Ceili Dances, Intro to Irish Step Dancing, Injury Prevention for Irish Dancers, and Classical Pilates and Cross-Training for the Irish Dancer.
