CONTEMPORARY

Contemporary dance has grown to become one of the most popular dance genres among classically trained dancers around the world. Contemporary combines technical elements of modern dance and ballet, weaving them into a highly expressive dance form. This class will explore elements of modern and ballet technique, floorwork, and improvisation through both class exercises and choreography. Students engage in athletic and artistic warm-up and movement combinations that encourage individual expression.
